that the Pope and all who lead continue to guide us in the ways of the Lord.
that they safeguard the rights and dignity of everyone through the laws they set.
For those who find Christmas challenging, for whatever reason,
may they find some joy and comfort in the simple things.
may they have a safe delivery and experience the joy of new life.
O God, who spoke promises to your people, fulfil your word and grant our prayers. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
